Turkey Sloppy Joes

img_7853I LOVE a good Sloppy Joe!

Im not one of those people who is scared by the foods we ate all the time when I was little! No way! Give me a can of Manwich and a box Mac and Cheese and Im good. LOL! I could eat them both everyday.

When I started on this journey of clean eating, I really made a point to adapt the things that we love to eat so that they were “clean”. There was no way that my kids were gonna be on board with this new way of eating if they never got mac and cheese again!

I can across this recipe in Autumn Calabrese’s cookbook “Fixate” which is FULL of Clean and 21 Day Fix approved recipes that are amazing for really taking your clean eating journey to the next level and expanding your recipes.

Ps: there is a cocktail section!

LThis would be an excellent recipe for cooking more than just one batch, freezing the second half and then you have another dinner for the month prepped, cooked and ready to go! You can also have your sloppy joe as a regular sandwich, and open faced sandwich (aka one slice of bread) or even as a lettuce wrap!! There are so many ways that you can enjoy this that having it prepped and ready to go is going to give you so many options for lunches and accommodate for your daily plan.

Let me know what yall think!
