21 Day Fix Cheeseburger fix

CHEESEBURGER!!!! I love cheeseburgers. I crave cheeseburgers big juicy ones that are messy and yummy and will snatch you down off you wagon faster than a ……pot hole? I don’t know i didn’t have a plan but Ill tell you this with all honesty Im not so reformed that i could order a hamburger with fries and a real….fountain…cold…burn your throat COKE!!!!! Ok we gotta stop before i get in my car now!

If you have seen some of my other posts my big theme is ADAPTATION! Take the things that you love and make them things that you can still have and stay on track. So enter:

Cheese Burger Skillet

1 lb lean ground beef
2 tsp Dijon mustard
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
3/4 cup onion, finely diced
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, drained
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Sea salt & pepper, to taste

Directions: Brown the meat, add the first 4 ingredients and let the onions cook until tender, then add the tomatoes and the cheese and stir well, turn the heat down to low and stir frequently to keep an eye on the cheese, simmer for 15 minutes. Serves 4 counts as 1 red and 1.5 green is served on lettuce and 1 Blue                              Pan to plate time: 25 mins


I put mine on a big bed of spinach to make it 2 green (veggie) servings and then added a little ketchup and mustard on top for dressing. THIS WAS AMAZING! It killed my craving!
